A literature review of drone-based package delivery logistics systems and their implementation feasibility

Benarbia, T., & Kyamakya, K. · 2022

full-text

A survey that treats delivery drones as charging sites, assignment, and system feasibility, not as a single-aircraft route. It is a shelf of published designs, not an operating permit.

Starting from the cost of the last kilometre in e-commerce, the abstract says the paper surveys representative solutions proposed for the design and modeling of drone logistics, and how far their performance has been shown. It also says it marks the central open problems and new lines of research. The keywords include repositioning of charging stations, routing optimization, and assignment.

A solution a survey calls "proposed" is often a model inside another paper. Do not move the survey's adjectives onto a scheduled street service. A discussion of feasibility is not a substitute for a country's aviation statute in 2026. Each citation inside the survey was not re-checked for this card.
