This short research letter compares drone delivery of an AED in simulated out-of-hospital cardiac arrest with real emergency-service arrival times. It is a primary citation when people say a medical drone was faster. The card stays inside the letter’s claim and does not reanalyze the case table.

In simulated cases in Stockholm, it compares time to deliver an AED by a fully autonomous drone with real emergency-service responses. In the cases studied, the drone is reported to have arrived sooner. The letter should not be read as a trial whose primary endpoint was survival.

The setting is a simulation, and it is not the full time until a bystander delivers a shock. It is bound to Stockholm’s geography and to the flight permission of that test. Do not convert it into minutes for another city. This card does not restate the medians.
