This review covers drone-only operations and combined drone-truck operations, including models, synchronization, and barriers to implementation. It is often the next survey people shelve after Otto. The card is citation-level.

Across construction, agriculture, logistics, and disaster response, it organizes mathematical models, solution methods, truck-drone synchronization, and factors that block implementation. It positions itself against earlier surveys and proposes research directions. It does not claim that one algorithm is always best.

The literature is centered on work up to 2020. Later exact methods and more detailed energy models fall outside it. A barrier named in the review is not the current statute of a particular country.
